Final Consonant Deletion (leaving sounds off of the ends of words)

This is a great resource to encourage producing the final sound in a word. Each page has the beginning of a word and four pictures that share that beginning, but differ in their endings. For example, all of the words may start with, "Ba," but they end with different sounds (ie: bag, badge). When first introducing this, tell each word to your child. Then ask the child to point to the object you have mentioned. Ask the child to state the name of the object. If the child omits the ending sound, point to the middle picture say, "This is the word you said. You left off the ending sound."
